Air Command Band In Tune For The Holidays

YWG's neighbours at 17 Wing Winnipeg are gearing up for the holidays, as their Air Command Band is touring parts of Northwestern Ontario, Manitoba and Saskatchewan, performing holiday favourites to Canadian Forces members, their families and the public.

A Reminder From CATSA To Pack Smart

CATSA (Canadian Air Transport Security Authority) posted a news item on their website yesterday, reminding travellers that pepper spray is not permitted on an airplane. That means it can not be packed in your checked luggage or your carry-on.

Thompson's New State-Of-The-Art Cold Weather Testing Facility

The grand opening of the Global Aerospace Centre for Icing and Environmental Research (GLACIER) facility and the not-for-profit Environmental Test, Research and Education Center (EnviroTREC) took place at the facility’s location just south of Thompson, Manitoba.
