Wrap Your Gifts at the Airport, Not at Home!
December 12, 2013
If you bring wrapped packages and gifts as carry-on, they may be subject to unwrapping at the security checkpoint – but don’t fret! Winnipeg Airports Authority is providing passengers with a self-serve gift-wrapping station in support of Hunger for Hope.
Located post-security in the domestic departures area, passengers can wrap their gifts in one of two festive gift wrap options – or be bold and use both for the same gift! No matter what wrap you use, don’t forget to add a bow!
Cash donations are appreciated in exchange for the use of the station, with all funds going to Hunger for Hope, a Winnipeg Harvest initiative.
Winnipeg Airports Authority is proud to support Winnipeg Harvest’s Hunger for Hope campaign, which is dedicated to ending child hunger in Manitoba. Since 2010, nearly $35,000 has been collected from receptacles located throughout the terminal building. The money raised through this campaign goes directly towards purchasing baby food and formula. For more information on Hunger for Hope, please visit their website.
The gift-wrapping station will remain open until Friday, December 27.
