Grey Cup Festivities Land at the Airport

We’re eager to greet all the football fans coming to Winnipeg for the 103rd Grey Cup this weekend! From transportation options to live entertainment in the Arrivals Hall, we’ve compiled all the information you need if you’re coming through the airport for the big game.

Transportation 
For fans staying at one of the hotels on the airport campus who want to take in one or more of the fantastic Grey Cup Festival events throughout the city, hop on the free shuttle departing from the terminal building. For those wishing to take public transit from the airport campus to the football game, Winnipeg Transit is offering free transportation to Investors Group Field. On Sunday, November 29, buses will leave the airport every 10 minutes beginning
at 3:30pm operating every ten minutes. The last bus will head to the stadium at 5:00pm. Please consult this link.

Performances at the Airport

There's a full lineup of live musical performances in the lead-up to the Grey Cup final. From Thursday, November 26 to Saturday, November 28, visitors arriving at the airport will be treated to a festive, fun-filled greeting in the Arrivals Hall.  

The following is a schedule of the performers:

Thursday, November 26

  • 9 am to 10 am – Roger Roger
  • 11 am to noon – Cassidy Man
  • 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm – Sean Burns
  • 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm – Ila Barker
  • 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm – Adam Hanney

Friday, November 27

  • 11 am to noon – Anne-Marie Williot
  • 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm – Frannie Klein
  • 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm – William Prince
  • 8 pm to 9 pm – Pierre Freynet

Saturday, November 28

  • 9 am to 10 am – Double the Trouble
  • 10:45 am to 11:45 am – Tim Barlow
