Passenger Trials Video

On Saturday October 8, 2011, 1300 community volunteers came out to help us test and trial the new air terminal in Winnipeg. The purpose of trials was to involve the community in a process which will ensure the new terminal functions well and meets customer’s expectations. Volunteers provided feedback forms in response to a series of real time, real life tests which will be used to make any adjustments prior to opening on October 30, 2011.

Winnipeg Airports Authority thanks volunteers for test driving Canada’s newest and greenest airport.

Take a look at how trials unfolded, see the below video.

The terminal will be one of the ‘greenest’ in North America and is LEED registered, incorporating systems that minimize the use of energy and reduce greenhouse gases while maintaining a comfortable environment for passengers.
