YWG at Night
February 8, 2008
Good morning blog readers!
Well another day, another blog! How is everyone doing this fantastic Friday? Is it just me, or did this week fly by? I have planned a not-too-busy weekend out for myself so that I can rest up and keep warm! Tonight I have a dinner with some friends I went to high school with, Saturday morning I have an exercise class (that nearly kills me, might I add!) and Sunday I have a breakfast plan with a friend I haven’t seen in awhile. So long as it doesn’t get to -40 again!
I’m heading into a meeting in about 8 minutes so I will have to make this a quick one today.
Today’s blog is some photos taken in the evening here at Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport. I think they are interesting pictures because usually when people think airport, they think sunny, blue skies... but there is something equally as attractive about all of the imagery you can see when it’s dark. As YWG is a 24 hour operation, there are people who get to experience this all of the time I guess. I usually work during daytime hours so I don’t get the pleasure of seeing it first hand a lot of the time- don’t get me wrong, I love my job, but I don’t think I want to pull a 24 hour shift... especially when there are lovely photos like these that I can see instead! Also, check near the bottom for a rendering of a piece of the new building at night as well.
Have a great weekend, all! Enjoy!
