February Construction Photos

Good morning everyone!

What a sunny, bright morning! Almost makes you forget it’s -40. How is everyone doing today?

I had the world’s most fantastic sleep last night and am feeling totally motivated today. I think I sleep better when it’s super cold- I’m wondering if it’s because of the whole animal-instinct-to-hibernate thing is kicking in. I don’t know the official ruling on this, but this has got to be one of the coldest winters in a long time... I’ll do some research on that later today maybe! But what is amazing is that Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport hasn’t closed because of weather this year, or in the past many years (I think the last time we had to close due to weather was 1985 or something like that- but don’t quote me, I’m not sure! Suffice it to say that it has been a long time) and that is something we can all be proud of!

Today’s post are some of my favorites from the newest crop of construction photos from the New Air Terminal Building site. I picked these pics because they are kind of quirky, and show a completely different side of the construction progress than what most people see when they are driving by the big structure. Hope you enjoy!
