Looking Back as we Look Towards the New Terminal

Happy Friday!

Good morning! Some good news right off the top today: I am done the Caesar Pelli videos and promise to post them very early next week so that everyone can hear the vision for the new building, right out of "the horse’s mouth" as they say.

I am excited about this weekend- I don’t really have any big plans, but I love to curl up with my old Aladdin blanket that I’ve had since I was 10 and watch a couple of movies when it’s rainy outside, and that’s really what I want to do this weekend! That and a bit of laundry. I’m sure you can all see that my airport life is much more glamorous and exciting than my personal one these days!

Today’s post is some old photos from the air traffic control tower from a long time ago. My favorite picture is the one where the guys are getting a "weather reading" and it’s just some piece of paper! Now, with all of the computer technology and everything, it seems almost ridiculous that they used to rely on a paper reading! Watching the skeleton of the new building come out of the ground and then seeing photos like these reminds me of how far we have come in such a short time.

I hope you all have a great weekend and I’ll be back, blogging for you on Monday!
