Ticket Window On Delta's Facebook Page

Facebook continues to upgrade services to its users as more and more companies and organizations – from all different types of industries – are catching on to the social media trend.
Delta Air Lines – which is actively involved in social media tools like Facebook and Twitter – has now provided its Facebook followers with the ability to buy tickets through the Delta Facebook page. This is a first in the airline industry, but not a surprising one as airline and airports alike continue to make strides when it comes to offering more services through social media.
A press release on the company’s website explained how Facebook is the most viewed webpage on Delta’s inflight Wi-Fi service “…on more than 2,000 Delta flights every day, giving us the natural launching point for a new online Ticket Window.”
It will be interesting to see how well this new method of ticket purchasing works, and if other airlines start to follow in Delta’s footsteps. We’d like to hear from you though.
