Festival du Voyageur Flash Mob at Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport
February 25, 2011

On February 24, 2011, at about 11:45 am, in Arrivals A at the Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport, a small group of traditionally dressed voyageurs started to sing the "voyageur song" as they descended the escalator at the south end of the air terminal. Little by little, more voyageurs joined in until there were over 30 people singing and dancing.
Here's a great video of the event. It's great to see the surprised reactions of passengers.
Everyone at the airport was humming the voyageur song for the rest of the day.
Winnipeg Airports Authority is proud to support the Festival du Voyageur.
