Golf Pro Frank Robertson at PGA Tour Shop on April 26

If you’re travelling out of the Winnipeg Richardson International Airport this Thursday, April 26, be sure to stop by the PGA Tour Shop between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to meet golf pro Frank Robertson from Golf Quest Canada.

Frank will be offering golf tips to passengers and customers. There will also be a putting green where a $2.00 donation to the Firefighters’ Burn Fund gives you five putts and the chance to enter your name to win a PGA shirt and hat if you sink three out of the five putts.

Mulligan News, a free monthly newsletter published by Frank Robertson, will be available at Thursday’s event and can also be found at golf shops and coffee shops around Manitoba. The next edition of Mulligan News will feature an article about the PGA Tour Shop at the airport as well as a promotion for Winnipeg Airports Authority’s 10th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Bridges Golf Course on August 23 in support of the Firefighters’ Burn Fund.

We’re looking for tournament sponsors; if you or someone you know is interested in sponsoring this event, please send us an email at MarketingRequests@waa.ca

Interesting fact:
“According to Golf Manitoba, there are 5.95 million golfers in Canada, and 282,000 of them live in Manitoba. That means 28.6% of Manitobans play golf!” Source: Mulligan News website.
