The Salvation Army's Christmas Kettles

Winnipeg Airports Authority is excited to welcome The Salvation Army to the Winnipeg Richardson International Airport for the holiday season. The Salvation Army has one of their easy-to-spot Christmas Kettles in the arrivals area near the baggage carousels.

The Salvation Army began its work in Canada in 1882, and quickly began giving hope to those in need in this country and around the world. The Christmas Kettle Campaign has raised funds for more than 120 years, and has become one of Canada’s most significant and recognizable annual charitable events.

The Salvation Army is one of the many community causes supported by WAA. Help us in remembering those less fortunate this holiday season, and continue your generosity into the new year.

The Kettle will be in the arrivals area of the terminal from now until December 24th. Not travelling this holiday season? You can donate online at: or call 1-800-SAL-ARMY.
