Finalist for the 2013 Canadian Tourism Awards

Winnipeg Airports Authority is pleased to be a finalist for the 2013 Canadian Tourism Awards in the Community Service category.

The Canadian Tourism Awards are presented annually by the Tourism Industry Association of Canada to recognize success, leadership and innovation in Canada's tourism industry, and to reward those people, places, organizations and events that have gone above and beyond to offer travellers superior tourism experiences in Canada.

Our country boasts some of the most outstanding tourism experiences and professionals in the world. The Canadian Tourism Awards feature nominees from all Canadian provinces and territories, proving that tourism is an economic driver from coast to coast.

Award finalists and recipients are selected by a jury of tourism industry professionals. The awards will be presented at a gala dinner ceremony at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier in Ottawa on Tuesday, December 3, 2013.

Other Manitoban finalists include Kareen Chambers of The Fairmont Winnipeg in the Employee of the Year category and Dauphin’s Countryfest for Event of the Year. Good luck to all the finalists!
