There was a train in the airport!

Yes, you read that right, there was a train in Winnipeg Richardson International Airport today. But this particular train doesn’t run on fuel, electricity or steam – it runs on hugs.

Arie Moyal’s HugTrain campaign made a stopover at airport, spreading happiness and good feelings just as the holiday season gets set to kick-off.

Founded in 2009 by Moyal, HugTrain’s mission is to offer a different perspective on the world by distributing and facilitating the exchange of hugs and mental health support by using technology to connect with people online and offline.

Moyal’s campaign has led him to cities throughout North America, raising awareness and funds for mental health along the way. This is his second visit to Winnipeg on the 2013-2014 HugTrain campaign. The funds raised in Canada will go towards the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA).
