Yesterday, YWG was greeted by a visitor - a large visitor - when a Royal Air Force (RAF) C-17 made a stopover in Winnipeg.
Our winter crews were out in full force today, starting very early in the morning and continuing on as this blog post is being written.

The stars of popular television show Rescue Ink flew in to Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport today. Local pet shelter Hull’s Haven Border Collie Rescue invited the animal welfare organization to help bring awareness to animal abuse here in Manitoba, and Canada.
October 3 – 9 is Fire Prevention Week across Canada, and the fire fighters at Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport are on hand from the 3rd to the 6th with valuable information on fire safety.
