Travellers 12 years of age plus four months or older planning to fly out of Winnipeg Richardson International Airport must be able to provide proof of vaccination documentation for travel as mandated by the Government of Canada.

Background

The federal government announced earlier this month that all air travellers departing Canadian airports must be fully vaccinated effective October 30.

Additional helpful details

The Manitoba Immunization Card or QR code that many community members currently have is still suggested to be used to access services within the province but the pan-Canadian PVC is to be used for domestic and international travel.

As rules, requirements and protocols may change, we recommend you continue to review the latest travel updates, including up to 72 hours before your flight and contact your airline to ensure you have the proper documentation for your trip.
