(WASCO), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Winnipeg Airports Authority, is partnering with the City of Dawson Creek, BC, to provide airport management services for the next three years at Dawson Creek Regional Airport (YDQ).

The goal is to work hands-on with airport staff to provide technical guidance and build upon practices for operating a safe and efficient airport environment. With a wealth of experience, WASCO has a strategic system for sharing practices that work for specific airport environments to transform obstacles into opportunities.

“The City of Dawson Creek welcomes this partnership agreement with WASCO to help the airport reach its full potential and best serve our community,” said Dale Bumstead, Mayor of Dawson Creek. “We look forward to seeing what the next three years will bring under WASCO’s leadership to help YDQ flourish for the benefit of the entire Peace River Region.”
